Creative writing is more than just storytelling. A good writer must learn to observe, listen, reflect, draw parallels, empathize and put it all down on paper. All of these aspects are touched upon in my writing programs.

Every class begins with a warm up and creativity exercises, then there is a presentation followed by discussions and prompts kids enjoy writing to.

Finally, they share what they have written!

Age Group: 13 to 15 years
Class Duration: 2nd Saturday of every month
Time: 3:00-4:30 pm EDT
Description: Classes for this age group offer deeper insight into form and structure of writing stories and essays. The goal is for teens to strengthen their own style of writing.
