COLLEGE ESSAY WORKSHOP

Today, as part of the application process, many colleges require you to submit a written essay. It could be part of of an answer to a question or a prompt. A carefully constructed essay is a great way to allow colleges to know your personality, your strengths, goals and what future vision you may hold.

This online workshop is intended to help young students in writing a good essay.

Topics covered:
– What colleges look for in an essay?
– Ways to structure and revise essays
– Brainstorming exercises

When: Monday, 18th June – Friday, 22nd – 2022
Time: 2:00-3:00 pm EST

Creative Writing in NATURE

A workshop were kids can be in a screen free space and allow themselves to be inspired by nature. Through simple breathing techniques, fun creative exercises and imaginative prompts, kids will learn to get in touch with their feelings and write from the heart -which is the foundation of essay writing.

*Parents please note – This workshop is not to improve ELA or SAT scores. On rainy days, classes will be held in an indoor space.

For: Kids ages 11-15
When: Monday, Wednesday and Friday – June 27th to July 29th, 2022
Time: 8:30-9:30 Am EST
Venue: A park in Ballantyne (TBD)
