Creative writing is more than just storytelling. A good writer must learn to observe, listen, reflect, draw parallels, empathize and put it all down on paper.

All of these aspects are touched upon in my writing programs. Every class begins with a warm up and creativity exercises, then there is a presentation followed by discussions and prompts kids enjoy writing to.

Finally, they share what they have written!

Class Details

Age Group: 9 to 11 years
Class Duration: Every Friday starting October 1st, 2021 to November 18th, 2021
Time: 4:00 to 5:00 pm EST
Description: This age is when children begin to process the complexities of language and emotion so the prompts are designed to be simple and more visual. The goal is for kids to learn to enjoy writing
